Delorme Pair of Transitional ormolu-mounted lacquer commodes stamped delorme Each variegated rouge marble top of breakfront outline above two long drawers decorated sans traverse with coromandel lacquer panels with a central reserve of figures in a landscape flanked by foliate trails, the sides veneered to match, each reserve with a rais-de-coeur ormolu border, raised on hipped cabriole legs headed by chutes cast with entrelac and hung with berried laurel garlands ending in sabots cast as paw feet; the pulls cast with French aristocratic profiles, possibly Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, each commode stamped DELORME.
